Keeping our kids and pets entertained during lockdown is challenging. De La Salle Holy Cross College Junior School thought of a good way to do both at the same time. Parents were asked by the teachers to send in photos of the school’s pupils reading with their pets. The initiative aimed to promote reading, of course, but also to create awareness around the importance of vaccinating our pets against rabies, thanks to the Global Alliance for Rabies Control’s (GARC’s) involvement and endorsement.
