Balancing a treat on his nose is much more than just a cute trick for your dog. It teaches him to focus and to be patient. If you can get your dog to sit still for a few seconds while balancing a treat on his nose, he will also be able to focus on other obedience tasks. It is not the easiest of tricks to teach your dog and can be quite challenging. But have faith and practise often.
