Every cat owner knows that most cats have strong personalities and a will of their own. They do as they wish, when it pleases them. And they mostly don’t have a problem to share their feelings with you.

- Rubbing against you You belong to me. I’m making you my slave forever. Just remember, when I rub against you, you need to rush to do everything for me.
- Bringing gifts of dead animals I’ve been hunting, and this is my kill. You need to clean it and present it to me for my dinner on your finest China.
- Chattering of teeth I’ve seen something that I want. Go and get it for me.

- Lying on something you are using, like a laptop, papers or books You are not paying attention to me. I am just going to lie here until you stroke me and tell me how beautiful I am.
- Knocking things off tables I know that you like this ornament, but I think it will look much better in pieces on the floor. It’s my artistic side.
- Drinking running water from a tap My water bowl is not the right colour. It’s too big and you don’t change the water often enough. It needs to be changed at least six times a day. I’ll just drink from a running tap and get in your way while you are using it.
- Twitching of the tail Be aware! I am going to pounce on you suddenly to make you pay attention to me. You are just big prey to me.
