The recent campaign run by Animaltalk magazine, Warner Bros. Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures raised funds nation-wide for local animal organisations/ shelters.

The national premier screening on the movie Max was in aid of RIGA Rescue, BVFD K9 Search and Rescue Unit and Amanzimtoti SPCA on Thursday 10 September 2015. Participants arrived with bags filled with donations at all three venues, as they were treated to a night out with the family.
The Johannesburg venue raised a total of R2,400 with eight trolleys filled with various donated items. Cape Town’s Tyger Valley branch, sported a phenomenal three trolleys filled with donations and an additional R1,140 raised. Finally, the Galleria branch in KZN brought in donations as well as R485 in cash.
