Cats are so different from dogs and sometimes do the weirdest things. Your kitten might be fine one day, but then all of a sudden, become clingy. I can’t say for sure why your kitten has now started this behaviour, but probably something has changed in your household, and this has upset her. It could be a person coming to the house, an existing dog or cat who has frightened her, or a new dog or cat. Or even a neighbourhood cat who is coming to the house, and your kitten is worried about this.
You can try some homeopathic medication to help with the stress, or even use Feliway spray to help calm her down. If this persists, you should consider asking an accredited feline behaviourist to come and do a home consultation.
