With so many talents at such a young age, Chloé-Jade Christian has many more dreams lined up for her future. This 16-year-old philanthropist has already achieved a lot in her young life – from wearing the crown as Miss Teen Earth International to being a humanitarian, horse rider, violinist, model and actress… and she is also a singer and a songwriter!
Young star
Chloé-Jade had participated in various arts festivals, eisteddfods and pageants before her journey really began in 2022, when she auditioned for the International Arts Talent Showcase. She went on to perform at the International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) conference in New York, and outperformed her fellow contestants by receiving the greatest number of call-backs.
When she gets to go home and kick off her shoes, it is her pets’ love and attention that puts a warm smile on her face. We spoke to Chloé-Jade to find out more about her dogs.
Tell us about your pets
Getting home and there’s a little ball of fluff there to greet me, no matter what the circumstances – that’s what makes life more interesting with pets.
I have two dogs: Penny and Caesar. Penny is a five-year-old Yorkshire Terrier who has brown eyes with the cutest face, legs that are light brown and a black body. She has the most contagious energy – with the memory of a goldfish, but her cuddles make up for it – and she brings me comfort every day. Her little barks and the looks of excitement when she sees food are also very cute.
I got Penny almost six years ago and that’s when I was finally able to fall asleep without having to ask my mom to stay with me for a bit. She has kept me warm every night since then, because she sleeps in my bed, and I love her so much.
Caesar is a 13-year-old rescue dog. He is similar to Penny in colour, but his face has grey on it and his chest is light brown with the fluffiest fur ever, making him look like a little lion. Caesar is the sweetest old baby – a handsome boy. All he ever wants is love and he will always give you love in return.
He will forever have a special place in my heart because he’s been there with me through thick and thin, always giving me love when I needed it. He’s protective and his little face is so adorable that you instantly love him. He’s truly loved by all, but especially by me.
