‘Sit’ is one of the most useful cues you can teach your dog. Think about it for a moment, while a dog is sitting, he can’t do anything else – he can’t jump up on people, he can’t trip someone and his focus is on you.
There are various benefits in teaching your dog the sit command from an early age. And it is easier than you think. Even if you don’t get it right the first time, remember, practice makes perfect.
