The South African Veterinary Council (SAVC) recently announced that the veterinary -and para-veterinary professions are welcoming new para-veterinary professionals on board as veterinary physiotherapists.
The council requested that applications for registration or authorisation need to be submitted as soon as possible but before or on Friday, 22 June 2018 to. To submit your applications, or for any queries about your application, please contact education@savc.org.za and directorregistrations@savc.org.za.
The sub-committee consisting of representatives of the profession of veterinary physiotherapy will meet in July 2018 to evaluate applications and to determine whether these applicants may be registered or authorised in terms of the provisions of the Veterinary and Para-Veterinary Professions Act, Act 19 of 1982 [The Act].
