Misha, a friend of Mom’s, owns a horse called Melissa, and she invited us for a visit. Meeting big and different animals is good for my socialisation. We went for a walk through the property. Here I am right at the back, checking things out.
Then we went to put Melissa in her stable and I spent some time with Misha’s dogs. Here all three of us are posing for a photo. At the back is Salt on the left and on the right is Chance. I’m in front.
After our visit we grabbed a coffee at a local coffee shop, and I sat very quietly while the humans had their drinks. Mom was very proud of me. This is my Mom’s friend Misha with me and Chance.
Mom and dad decided to go out for lunch. They chose a beautiful restaurant close to us. There is a big farmhouse but we sat outside. Mom gave me a chewie and a Kong to keep me busy. And she put my jacket on so everyone could see that I’m a Guide Dog in training.
Here I am playing with the chew Mom gave me. So much for sitting still (it did get a bit boring).
Next time I visit Mom’s work and behave really well at another restaurant
