The story of Zeus is a true ‘rags to riches’ tale.

The feature film ‘n Pawpaw vir my Darling hits the big screens in South Africa on 8 January. The film is based on the book of the same name by Jeanne Goosen, and was directed by Koos Roets. It also stars some of South Africa’s greatest actors, including Deon Lotz, Deirdre Wolhuter, Jana Nortier, Sandra Prinsloo, Willie Esterhuizen and Brümilda van Rensburg.

And in his movie debut you will see Zeus, adog who was found abandoned and emaciated by the SPCA, before being adopted by Sandy Cammel. Tobie Cronje lent his voice to Zeus’ character in the film, Tsjaka, who narrates an entertaining story of a family living in Damville.
