A new addition to the prestigious Animaltalk Top Dog Awards this year was an agility category, sponsored by Bravecto South Africa. These super-quick canine achievers were recognised in three categories: small, medium and large.
Winner: Medium
Lindsay King and R-The (Arthur) came out tops in the medium category at this year’s ceremony. R-The is a Miniature American Shepherd, a breed only recently recognised by KUSA. R-The is from imported parents and was bred by Lindsay herself. Agility is practically in his blood, as both his parents were multiple champions – it was a natural decision to train him in agility as well!
“R-The loves to play and for him work is play,” says Lindsay. “He has been competing for five years and I love running him.”
